Skipper Harry Kane scored a brace as England started their World Cup campaign with a fighting 2-1 victory over Tunisia. After his early 11th minute lead was negated by Ferjani Sassi’s goal from spot-kick in the 35th minute, Kane scored the winner in the stoppage time to give England all three points.

Another brilliant diving save from Tunisia goalkeeper Mouez Hassen, who palmed away John Stones’ header from an England corner-kick. But he only managed to push the ball to Harry Kane, who scored from a close range.

5′ – MISSED! Dele Alli made a brilliant cross to Raheem Sterling, who fumbled and mishit it wide from five yards out. What a chance. It was an open goal for Sterling.
3′ – SAVE! Early chance for England. Tunisia goalkeeper Mouez Hassen made back-to-back saves inside a minute. First Hassen used his foot to clear Dele Alli’s strike and in the resultant corner made another diving save.
